A little about us....

Hi there!! Thank you so much for stopping by! 

We are Sandra and Cory, owners/travel agents of Unwinding Escapes, LLC, an independent agency within the Avoya Network. 

We've been married for 25 years. Both of us were military dependents as children, so we had the unique experience of relocating every two years. Although the frequent moves felt challenging to us as young children, they ultimately became a blessing, allowing us to explore and reside in incredible places, including various regions in Germany and Athens, Greece, among others! We both love to travel, especially cruising!

I worked as a reservation agent for many years in the cruise industry re-ignited my love for traveling, especially cruising! During that time, I realized that I truly enjoyed planning and helping others with their cruise bookings and discussing the little details to make their vacation a memorable experience, whether it was their very first time or they were a returning guest. I loved connecting with my callers! I knew once the call ended, there was no follow-up to see how they enjoyed their vacation since I worked in a call center. It was then I wanted more! I knew I wanted to have a deeper connection with my guests, so I became a certified and bonded travel agent.
